• Compare the Cost V/s Advantages of Conversion of Diesel Genset to Dual-fuel with buying a new Gas Genset. It may sometimes be better to Buy New 100% Gas Genset of Capacity 19 Kva upto 125 Kva
• We suggest that its better to buy 2 or more New 100% Gas Gensets of 125 Kva if your requirement is more upto 200 Kva or so, depending upon space availability. These can be synchronised.
• Convert Diesel Gensets to dual-fuel only if less than 7/8 years and in good condition. Only then go for Conversion to dual-fuel
• If you have large diesel Gensets of 250-800 Kva, then conversion is a good option as conversion + RECD cost shall be 12-15% approx of the new ones, specially 100% Gas 500 Kva Genset which is mostly imported and landing cost is more than Rs.1.25 crore
• Make sure you invest on conversion after health check-up of existing Genset and expected performance analysis after conversion
