IamSMEofIndia in association with ICF Consulting Services Ltd. is assessing the technology level interventions for decarbonization of MSMEs in aluminium sector.
 

This project "Developing a low-carbon Roadmap for five 'hard-to-decarbonize' MSME sectors in India" is supported by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and the British High Commission (BHC) under the UK PACT Portfolio.

 

The project will benefit the MSME units through;
 

i. one free-of-cost walk-through audit
 

ii. identification of sector-specific & sector-neutral low carbon technology (LCT) solutions
 

iii. etailed cost-benefit analysis of the proposed technology
 

iv. identification of technology suppliers for LCT solutions
 

v. channelizing appropriate financial options for technology implementation

During the program, IamSMEofIndia shall bring to the participating units many Incentives, subsidies and grants available from different agencies, so as to encourage the MSME manufacturing units to come forward and join the program.
These incentives are to the tune of almost Rs.1.0 crore per MSME.
