This is to update that as per the Orders of CAQM dated 9th February’23, in all areas in Delhi NCR wherever Gas Infrastructure is available, Only Diesel Gensets with Conversion to Dual Fuel 70:30 (70 Gas:30 Diesel) shall be permitted w.e.f. 15.05.23.
Further, use of the dual-fuel Gensets shall be permitted in times of no restriction and GRAP Stage-I and upto 2 hours a day during GRAP Stage-II.
Installation of RECD on Dual-fuel Genset is also mandatory wef 01.10.2023.
In other words, Use of 100% Diesel Gensets shall be completely banned w.e.f. 15.05.23 in all areas of Delhi NCR where Gas infrastructure is available.
