As we bid farewell to the year 2023, we reflect on the challenges and triumphs that have shaped us. Now, we stand on the threshold of a new chapter The Year' 24, deemed as "The Year of the Reckoning."

Looking back at 2023, we commenced with the inspiring programs "Simply Unstoppable" and "It's all about the mind games." These themes emphasized the power of belief and determination. Those who dared to dream big and took bold leaps of faith found themselves reaching remarkable heights. Conversely, those who succumbed to skepticism and negativity found their aspirations limited.

Despite facing international and domestic natural disasters that took big tolls and caused great havoc and destruction, heightened tensions between nations, escalation of the Israel-Hamas hostilities and continued Russia-Ukraine war amidst other global uncertainties, we witnessed extraordinary progress in India's economic landscape. Surging stock markets, record-breaking GST and direct tax collections, robust sales across various industries, soaring real estate values, highest vehicle sales in all segments, peak Gold and Silver rates, biggest box office collections, highest tourism, hundreds of SME IPOs, highest tally in Commonwealth games, ISROs super achievements towards Sun and the Moon, Crazy cricket fever with some brilliant performances too and much much more. Our India and its entrepreneurs remained Simply Unstoppable, exemplifying the resilience and determination of India and its entrepreneurs. 2023 the year when sheer willpower and faith could move mountains, the Year when you could do what you wished for and believed in.

As we enter '24, the journey may start with similar momentum but anticipates significant divergence as we delve deeper into the year. Ongoing conflicts between nations, particularly the Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Hamas disputes, coupled with nearly 100 major elections across the globe, including the US, India, UK, EU, Mexico. Taiwan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and more, foreshadow a year laced with political fervour and upheaval. Brace yourselves for a tumultuous ride ahead. Furthermore, the spectre of natural disasters, largely attributed to climate change and global warming, looms, underscoring the urgent need for sustainable living practices. It's evident that 2024 is poised to be the year of reckoning. I believe that this is going to be the Year when we will get only what we deserve and what we earnestly work for. This, therefore, is the year of sincere hard work and serious efforts. This year s work shall define what we ll reap over the next decade.

As we bid farewell to 2023 and embrace the promise of '24, let us carry forward the lessons learned and the spirit of resilience gained. Let us channel the unwavering determination that defined 2023 and utilize it to navigate the challenges and seize the opportunities that await us in the coming year.

In '24, let us stand together as a global community, fostering empathy and understanding amidst political tumults and environmental uncertainties. Let us strive to effect positive change, not only for ourselves but also for future generations. Together, we can redefine the narrative of 2024, drawing strength from the triumphs of the past and infusing hope into the uncertainties of the future.
